General Information

Here you will find information about the scanner, technical specifications, possible resolutions and scannable film formats

The Scanner

Noritsu HS-1800

The Noritsu HS-1800 film scanner is known, used and praised in small and big businesses all arround the globe.

Higher Bit Depth

The Noritsu HS-1800 can output "TIFF" image files with a color depth of 16 Bit. This increase in color range makes transitions and gradients in pictures more seemless. (16Bit scanning coming soon -> FAQ)

High Resolution

The Noritsu HS-1800 is known for it's incredible image quality. The scanner can output files up to 5000px wide and 7500px long (depending on the scanned format). This will result in higher quality images when the scanned images are printed or enlarged.

Great Shadow Detail

The scanner is able to pull more information out of shadow areas which results in a more balanced image and richer greys.

Better Color Representation

Like other professional film scanners, the HS-1800 offers professional quality color representation.
